Crabs were good but we got XL dozen for $75 and probably 4 or 5 of them were not full. Good taste though! And drinks were okay. I ordered a tropical drink and midway through noticed an ant in there. No big deal I know with the sugar around the bar it happens. Reordered it and the next drink had another ant. Kinda a disappointment. They did take it off the bill. Needless to say i ordered a cider that came in a bottle. Service was great with nice staff. Guess we have been spoiled by our crab guy hand picking our crabs and us steaming them.
Stopped in for some lunch, and decided to order the large crabs. While waiting, we got a couple of drinks (beer and a grapefruit crush), and the beer was ice cold and the crush was one of the best I've tasted. As the crab order was taking a little time, one of the waitresses suggested we try the crab soups (regular and cream), and both of those were excellent. Our waitress returned to us after waiting over 45 minutes for our crabs and apologized for a glitch in the POS system which deleted our order. She said she would put the order in again and upgrade us to the next larger sized crabs at no extra charge. To further compensate us for the wait, she even comped us a bucket of beer. Once the crabs finally came out, they were hot and delicious, and worth waiting for. Another staff member and her daughter engaged us in an interesting conversation about the restaurant and the local area while we waited. Unless the staff there thought we were undercover restaurant critics, I have to commend them on the excellent treatment and exceptional food they provided. What an outstanding experience we received in the sparsely filled outdoor dining area today. If they treat everyone this way, you have to go and check this place out, as I highly recommend it.

Sue Island has great food, great staff and great live music! What else could you ask for? Oh, yeah they gave a great view of the sunset over the water while sitting next to the fire pit@
Been there a few times on Sundays. They have an awesome bartender named Jeremy. He makes amazing drinks and great quick service. Crab dip is great!!!! Had their crabs too, very good
