So, i’ve Been clothing to this Zips because it is near my workplace. That stops today. More than once have I gotten clothing back with the same stains on them as when they came in. You would think that a dry cleaner would know how to get an u treated coffee with milk stain out of cotton. They actually made it worse. The lady offered to redo the sweater at the risk of damaging the sweater. That’s just not acceptable. My husband’ s gray uniforms have twice in the past month come back with stains. The shop’s explanation is that it is just a stain that won’t come out. I think the explanation is that whoever is the one to treat stains doesn’t know how to do it. I would not recommend tak8ng your clothes to this particular Zips.

Sylvia came on the phone and was more worthless than the male manager. She told me to come into the store and check the shirts, which they had re-done for the 3rd time. She could not guarantee that the starching of my shirts would not happen again.
Still, he blamed me for the error, saying that this is happening because some require dry cleaning and others require laundering. This is an argument which makes absolutely no sense. He would not acquiesce, still blaming me even after I pointed out his note on the finished garments which clearly stated, "ABSOLUTELY NO STARCH!"
After the 3rd time of them doing this to my $85-130 shirts, I became angry with the male store manager. He then made it a point to note on the ticket "ABSOLUTELY NO STARCH!" -- The shirts were again returned starched.
I live 30 minutes away from this dry cleaners and I always tell them to put creases in the pants and on the dress shirts sleeves. 9 out of 10 times I am having to return them for no creases and making another out of the way trip to pick them up. Sometimes they are fixed and sometimes not or some are done correct while others are not and I have to now sort through them before taking them. We complained to the manager twice and he promised they would be done correctly. Well that didn't happen. I think there's a huge language barrier because the Hispanic lady specifically put notes in the system for the creases and the manager explained today (4/3/17) that the creases didn't get done because they weren't written in Spanish... I guess he doesn't realize that it doesn't look good on him because he is the one running the store and if you're hiring Spanish speaking/reading only ladies, then you need to make sure you can speak Spanish to them so they have a full understanding! After we pick up our once again returned shirts, we will no longer visit this location. Not sure why it is so hard to expect people to do the job their business is about?!

I asked to speak to the manager, some lady named "Sylvia" - He said I would have to come back into the store to speak to her. I asked him to have Sylvia call me. Turns out, Sylvia doesn't call customers--just won't do it. I then called and asked to speak with Sylvia--The male manager told me I would have to come into the store to speak to her. I work for a living and can't work my scheduled around when Sylvia will be at that store. I demanded to speak to her.
By far the worst Zips cleaners I have ever used, and I had previously used Zips for ~2 years while living in DC.
Those familiar with Tommy Bahama Hawaiian shirts know they're designed to lay loose and casual. No matter how many times you tell these people at this Zips location not to starch these shirts, they starch them. The shirts come back hard as a rock.
I am no longer a Zips Dry Cleaning customer.
